“Music is the literature of the heart; it commences where speech ends,” said Alphonse Lamartine. For three nights in October, eight performers sang their hearts out at The Players of Utica in Utica, NY. On October 14-16th, John Krause, Caitlin Deery Fenton, Bonnie Hibbard, Tim Huey, Linda Potts, Linda LaPorte Stoodley, her husband Richard K. Stoodley and Hana Meyers filled the auditorium with a special joy that only great music can bring. Each performer chose songs for solos and explained why those songs meant so much to them. Conceived and directed by Dan Fusillo, the show was a lovely night out for many, after more than a year in pandemic isolation.
